Deriving its inspirations from traditional Indian cuts, Neeta Lulla’s A/W 2010 Collection is a set of beautiful wearable ensembles for the woman of substance, the torchbearer in today’s times. The combination of fluid drapes in solid hues with rich embroideries of south Asia’s Dhakai motifs makes it an ornamental, delicate & feminine collection.

A very elegant merger of Black with vintage Bordeaux, Azure and Olive green with a careful amalgam of textured silk georgettes, jersey’s and crepe assures sensuality & ease.

The collection comprises of draped dresses, tunics & tops paired with dhotis & flared pants, embellished dinner jackets on sensual lace shifts. The masculine powerful shoulders lines are juxtaposed with feminine embellishments and draped cowl sleeves. Deriving its inspirations from Victorian motifs, Neeta Lulla’s A/W 2010 Collection is a set of beautiful wearable ensembles for the woman of substance. The combination of fluid silhouettes with rich embroideries of Victorian motifs makes it an ornamental, delicate & feminine collection.

A Very elegant merger of soft pastel colors like the pink’s, peach’s, lime green’s & sky blue with jewel tones like aqua blue, orchid, teal & emerald green is a real treat to the eyes. Amalgam of embroidered silk georgettes, chiffons and net with Chantilly lace assures sensuality & ease.

The collection comprises of corset dresses & tunics in flowy two tone chiffons and embroidered georgettes with cutwork lace embellishments making it very sensuous. The traditional silhouettes including Cocktail dresses, Tunics, Churidar Kurta’s, Sarees & Lehenga’s are juxtaposed with feminine hues and fabrics, embellished with antique gold, gold zardosi and sequined embroideries. Small Business Award 2010Neeta Lulla was presented with SME Entrepreneur of the year award at Franchise India Small Business Awards 2010 on 28th August, 2010 at the Novotel. The award show organized by Franchise India and Earnst and Young recognized excellence in small industries. The award function also had a fashion presentation by Neeta Lulla. Neeta Lulla showcased a special line of her collection to celebrate the award show.

This award acknowledges Neeta Lulla’s significant increase in retail presence across India as well as globally in a short time span since getting in to mainstream retail. The designer has also had a huge impact on the Indian fashion scenario over the last 2 decades due to her association with Bollywood and consistency in producing ensembles with superb style and quality.

The Neeta Lulla brand is also one of India’s first designer brands to launch and online shopping format and has also create tie ups with leading online shopping stores in India. Apart from this the brand also has interests in fashion education and art.

On receiving the award Neeta Lulla said; “I am overwhelmed in receiving this award from the corporate world. Traditionally Indian designers have never really focused on the business side of their profession however with recognitions like these I am sure that more designers will realize the importance of looking at the larger picture. I believe that platforms like this will speedup the involvement of the corporate world in the fashion business for a much needed financial and management support”
